Biomedical Research

My academic journey

... began in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, followed by a Master's in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease at Radboud University in my hometown of Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

During my thesis projects, I embraced the opportunity to explore new cultures and environments. In Paris, I worked at INSERM on innovative treatments for eye diseases. In Boston at Harvard University, I collaborated with outstanding teams on nanobody based therapies for autoimmune diseases.

For my PhD, I found a home in Lausanne, Switzerland, at EPFL. There, I focused on developing novel protein chimeras to enhance CAR T-cell immunotherapy for cancer treatment.
